LiFePO4 batteries (lithium-iron-phosphate) with a built-in BMS system are characterized primarily by very low weight and a large number of operating cycles - service life of approx. 6000 cycles at DoD 60%. Thanks to high cyclicity and very low self-discharge, the LiFePO4 battery works great both in emergency power systems and in OFF-GRID installations. Low weight allows the device to be used in installations in vehicles (campers, food trucks) and boats. The built-in BMS system ensures battery storage without losing nominal capacity for a long time and controls the battery charging and discharging processes.
What devices does the LiFePO4 battery power?
Emergency power systems
OFF-GRID installations
Installations in vehicles (campers, food trucks)
Electrical installations in boats to power electronic devices, lighting, household appliances
(ONLY when using a hermetic battery housing)
NOTE:
When using a LIFEPO4 battery to power a device with an electric motor, including motors driving the propeller, it is mandatory to use a DC fuse on the (+) circuit of the battery, with a value not greater than the maximum load current indicated
on the housing.
Loading the battery with starting current, which can be 5 to 10 times higher than the nominal operating current of electric, outboard, built-in motors, compressors, refrigerators, air conditioners and other motor devices, may cause permanent damage to the LIFEPO4 battery with BMS which is not covered by warranty.
It is recommended to use AGM batteries to power propulsion motors in boats due to the significantly higher starting current.
* The battery should ONLY be charged with a charger dedicated to LIFEPO4 batteries.
