Purpose:

Universal control unit UCS 4000 is microprocessor unit designed to activate fire protection equipment like natural smoke and heat exhaust units gravitational as well as mechanical and daily ventilation.

Universal control unit can operate as an individual one-zone control panel or as an addressable control element installed in control panels’ detection lines range POLON 4000.

Functionality

Control panel USC 4000 enables:

-     fire detection (smokiness);

-     automatic or manual activation of fire protection equipment that is installed with exhausting systems;

-     acoustic and optical indication of mode of operation (alarm, fault, block, test);

-     activation automatic control of fire protection equipment (servo-motors, electromagnets, exhaust fans, etc.);

-     self automatic control;

-     basic information transmission to master systems (POLON 4000, IGNIS 1000 or other) concerning fire alarm, fault, test, activation of fire protection equipment.

Control panel can operate in the following modes:

-     quiescent with the possibility of activation daily ventilation function,

-     fire alarm – activation of fire protection equipment,

-     fault,

-     block,

-     test.
